Licensing for dBLibs and dBTools

Non-Government Entities
You May:
  • Use the source and executables within your organization/company
  • Modify the source within your organization/company
  • Distribute dBTools executables outside your organization/company
You Must:
  • Protect dBLibs and dBTools source from being distributed outside your organization
  • Provide deciBel Research with any modifications prior to distributing executables, based on modified source, outside your organization/company
  • Inform entities that receive dBTools executables that the source came from deciBel Research
Government Entities
You May:
  • Use the source and executables within your organization
  • Modify the source within your organization
  • Distribute dBLibs and dBTools source and executables outside your organization
  • Distribute modified version of dBLibs and dBTools source and executable outside your organization
If you distribute modified versions outside your organization, you must either:
  • Provide the modifications to deciBel Research prior to distribution
  • Rename the modified distribution to distinguish it from dBTools
  • Support for dBLibs and dBTools
